Our Family Portraits :)

I met Carla Jalbert at Mike Colon's workshop back in December. The other day, she took some wondeful portraits of our family. She is an amazing photographer and such a sweet and wonderful person! She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and she caught us in the moment, being ourselves. This is what I strive to do at every photo shoot. It was different to be in front of the camera - I'm not used to it. I was so happy to get some photographs of our little Kaimana who is not so little anymore. He is growing way too fast. All though I am a professional photographer, I have to admit that I haven't been taking nearly as many photos of my little sweetheart as I'd like to. I think it's because whenever we're at the beach I want to be in the moment with him and make sure he's not running into the water (which he does). So... it's hard to take photos of your own child when they are in such an exploring stage of life. I am SO THANKFUL to have these images to look back on. Thank you Carla! We love them!
