Ashley & Gary

I haven't been working for a couple of months because I am a new mommy but I had such a nice time going back to work with this wonderful couple! Ashley and Gary were so much fun to work with. They were easy going and very photogenic and so affectionate towards one another. It was a very beautiful, intimate beach wedding with just the two of them. It's always nice to have amazing weather and a gorgeous sunset also :) Ashley and Gary, thank you for letting me capture the precious moments of your big day. I wish you a lifetime of happiness!

Kaimana ` first few weeks

I have been taking a lot of photos of our little angel over the past couple of weeks but I'm just now finding the time to post. He is changing so fast in both his physical appearance and alertness! He's such a happy baby and we are such happy parents - it's a tremendous joy to have him!
He's got a total Mohawk!

I love how small his little fingers are...

Our first walk around the block (and he loves his Ergo! It keeps him close to my heart and he falls asleep almost every time I start walking with him in it):

As you can see, I have taken lots of Kaimana and Daddy... I don't have so many of Kaimana and me - we'll have to work on that

We did manage to get a little family photo at 2 weeks old...

I take a lot while he's sleeping.

Kim came over and visited and brought us lunch and flowers and captured this one of us (I love it - thanks Kim!)

I absolutely love the look in Kaimana's eyes as he's looking at Kawika! He loves his Daddy so much and you can see it in his eyes.

I captured this one while they were sleeping. The light was really low and I didn't want to wake them with flash so I turned the iso up to 3200 on my 5D - that was the key to capturing this moment and not shocking them with flash.

All of the rest were taken today (4/20/08) and Kaimana is exactly 3 weeks old.

I think he is reacting to the sound of my camera in the image below - hahaha - I couldn't resist taking some while he was sleeping though

And then he woke up - he was so happy after his diaper change and he was posing for my camera. Kaimana - this is just the beginning. I am going to take soooooooo many photos of you throughout the next 20 years!

Kaimana David Tano

Our little boy was born on 3:50am on Sunday, March 30th, 2008! He was 7 lb 15 oz and 20.5 inches. He is the most precious little bundle of joy. We are so incredibly happy to be parents. It really is the best feeling on earth. It is a miracle to go through the journey of bringing new life into the world. I never realized just how much you can love another human being. He is our little angel and I am so lucky to be his mother. I will be taking lots of photos of him so follow my blog to see more as he grows. These were all taken at two days old.
